ESP Catapult Particle PultThis Particle Pult is designed to maximize distance and minimize spread with a range of popular baits including pellets, sweetcorn, tiger nuts and hemp. Unlike boilies, particle baits can be difficult to catapult any distances beyond about 15 to 20 metres. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight/weathering and natural latex will last longer. The colour of the Katapult frame is now different for each type of elastic – heavy (black); medium (green); and light (brown) – to make it easy to quickly grab the right one out of your bag. The new ‘light’ catapult has replaced the old model - which has become the ‘medium’ in the range – and features even lighter elastic, along with a larger pouch than the other two models, and is ideal for mass baiting with particles at closer ranges. Each Katapult features a lightweight hollow, yet very strong, nylon frame with a textured handle that has been ergonomically designed to fit in your hand comfortably as well as allowing you to get a good grip, even with wet hands or ones covered in particle juice! The pouches feature drainage holes as well as extra strengthening around the area where it attaches to the elastic (which can be replaced and new elastic fitted to the connectors with ease), and are shaped to ensure that your bait lands where you want it to, allowing for tight grouping with multiple boilies, tiger nuts or similar, when putting a few out at a time (filling the pouch will give a wider spread). A tag at the back of the pouch allows you to get a good grip, which improves accuracy as it isn’t slipping from your hand prematurely. Tangled elastics and twist have always been annoying when trying to put out larger amounts of bait, as it makes the process much slower, but that problem has been alleviated thanks to the use of size 10 ball bearing swivels and welded rings to connect the elastic the frame. Drennan Revolution Tangle Free Caty The perennial problem with catapults is twisting up of the elastic. So these have a special attachment at the frame end that is designed to revolve freely and reduce such tangles to an absolute minimum. Rigorous feeding methods such as pellet waggler fishing have meant we have had to produce a catapult that is extremely tough and durable. The handle is ergonomically correct, fitting the hand perfectly, and the best way to reduce elastic wear at the frame end is to have a straight attachment peg, protruding  ‘in the line of pull’. Similarly, the pouches are designed with constant feeding of baits like hard pellets. They are produced under strict moulding conditions from a super-tough polymer.  Rotation bearings and special cluster feed pouches help to maintain a tight spread of bait. These models have been many months in devel­op­ment, field-testing and pro­duc­tion and  the dif­fer­ence in quality of build is clearly visible!Aqua Revolution Caty – The lightest catapult in the range with Ultra Soft elastic. This is ideal with small particle baits and short-range work up to around 13-14 metres. Ideal with squats, pinkies, hemp, casters and small pellets. Red Revolution Caty – Again, ideal for shorter ranges but with Light elastic for pole fishing and short-range waggler work up to around 16 metres. Ideal with baits such as maggots, casters, hemp and pellets up to 6mm. Green Revolution Caty – A larger frame size with Strong latex.
